Strength training can be a great way for teens to build healthy muscles, joints, and bones. With a properly designed program that focus's on proper form and technique, it can improve endurance, self-confidence and total fitness level and sports performance.

My focus with teens is on proper form and technique. When proper techinique is mastered, small amounts of resistance (body weight, band, or weight) can be added. In general as teens get older and stronger, they can gradually increase the amount of resistance they use.

I believe in four key areas for success:

  4. Rest
